You and your friends are invited to attend the face-to-face or online monthly Morning of Recollection for Men on Saturday, August 15, from 8 am to 10:30 am.
Notice, breakfast has not been included to facilitate keeping the appropriate physical distance. You may want to make sure you have breakfast before you leave home for the recollection.
For those attending the recollection in person:
We will require wearing a mask at all times within the premises. If you think you will not be able to comply with that requirement, we would encourage you to attend the recollection online.
For those attending the recollection in online:
CREATE THE RIGHT SETTING. Take care of the atmosphere in the room. Hopefully you can find a quiet place at home appropriate for prayer and recollection.
GET DRESSED. Dress for the occasion: you might be at home, but leave the pajamas for bedtime and the tracksuit for sports time.
GO THROUGH THE MOTIONS. Kneel down at the beginning and end of the meditations. When you sit, you may want to use a chair rather than a sofa.
