Philosophy is the love of wisdom (philo + sophia). Join friends for lively conversation in an informal setting as we seek wisdom together. Whether about fundamental issues—morality, God, the human person etc.—current events, or practical aspects of daily living, there's always something to talk about. And of course, there's always beer. 

We'll meet most Thursdays (see dates below).

This week:  Consider the human dimension of wealth and the work we use to earn it. Do we have a duty to work? A right to a just wage? How do we deal with great amounts of wealth virtuously? What kinds of obligations do I have to the  community and the world in the use of my wealth? Mike West will lead us through a discussion of basic principles of economics and Catholic Social teaching to help us think through these and related questions!
