Information provided by members (those who sign up on the website) is not visible to the world.
Users do not need to provide all the fields presented in the registration form to sign up. At the time of writing these terms and conditions the required fields for registration are: name, last name, username, email, birthday and mail address.
The user has full control of who can see a particular field or piece information (like birthday), by making a selection on the icon to the right of the field. The selections are: all members, friends or no one. Friends are members who are accepted as so by the user.
By default, information is shared with members of the site except for family information (wife's name, number of children, etc), which is only shared with friends. However, those settings can be changed by the user at registration time or anytime later.
